About the Role
You will be responsible for supervising children and working as a team to deliver a high-quality education and care service. Key focus areas include acknowledging and supporting the unique strengths, needs, and interests of the whole child, while inspiring a supportive culture of safety in line with PCYC Queensland values.
About You
While no formal qualifications are required, a minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children is preferred. Relevant study areas include behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation, and human welfare studies.
- Experience in the OSHC or long day care sector is desirable.
- You must be able to respond to children's needs and concerns to ensure quality service meets agreed standards.
- A desire to succeed in a supportive workplace is essential.
