Election Process Specialist

We have been appointed as the sole recruitment partner for the Western Australian Electoral Commission, tasked with providing a 10,000-strong workforce for the next state election.
Our current job openings include several roles related to the State Elections, requiring skilled individuals to assist with polling operations.
Election Roles Overview
The following roles are available:
- Presiding Officer: Manages polling place operations, supervises staff, and ensures electoral procedures are followed.
- Assistant Presiding Officer: Assists the Presiding Officer with managing personnel, election resources, and polling places.
- Declaration Officer: Issues declaration votes on polling day to electors not registered in that district.
- Early Presiding Officer: Oversees polling operations at early voting locations, ensuring procedures are followed and staff are supervised.
- Early Assistant Presiding Officer: Assists the Early Presiding Officer with managing personnel and election resources.
- Early Issuing/Counting Officer: Issues ballot papers, rotates as a ballot box guard, and assists with counting operations.
- Assistant Returning Officer: Conducts counts, trains officers, and records results, also managing scrutineers and ballot papers.
- Mobile Presiding Officer: Manages mobile polling operations, ensuring procedures are followed and staff are supervised.
- Mobile Issuing Officer: Issues ballot papers and assists the Mobile Presiding Officer.
- Remote Presiding Officer: Oversees remote polling operations, ensuring procedures are followed and staff are supervised.
- Remote Issuing Officer: Issues ballot papers and assists the Remote Presiding Officer.
- Returning Officer Assistant: Assists the Returning Officer with higher-level duties, including result entry, mobile counts, and material returns.
- Returning Officer General Assistant: Assists with material receipt, sorting, distribution, reconciliation, and packing on election night and after.
