About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson / Detailer to join our client's team. As a key member of the drafting department, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings for a variety of architectural and fabrication products. Your strong attention to detail and metal fabrication background will be essential in delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed drawings for architectural and fabrication products
  • Work closely with the managing director, project manager, and manufacturing manager on multiple projects
  • Produce detailed shop drawings and parts lists for fabrication and client approval
  • Generate rendered images for clients
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Building Codes and Standards
Requirements
  • 3+ years of drafting and detailing experience
  • Metal or steel fabrication or manufacturing background essential
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Inventor, or Solidworks
  • Experience with 3D drafting of tube/pipework and sheet metal
  • Strong understanding of 2D drafting principles
