Project Controls Consultant Role Overview
Job Description

A highly motivated and adaptable Project Controls professional is required to support our clients.

We are seeking an individual with excellent stakeholder engagement skills, experience working in project controls, and a strong understanding of project planning and project controls.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work across multiple sectors and on multiple projects, increasing their experience and capability over time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules/cost controls/risk management/reporting
  • Perform analysis and interrogation on schedules/cost
  • Develop Project Controls systems and train clients in the use of reports
  • Maintain project reporting requirements
  • Ensure that performance is both positive and proactive and that you provide a high-impact service – we fix problems quickly without fuss

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Actively identifying opportunities to develop our network & services
  • Attending/participating in knowledge sharing & networking events
  • Providing market research to sector leads

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years project experience
  • Good understanding of benefits and application of project planning and project controls
  • High level of IT skills and experience using planning/cost/risk software e.g. Primavera P6, Prism, ARM
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Reliable and adaptable to change
  • Displays a positive can-do attitude and behaviour
