Job Summary:

As a Diesel Mechanic with Programmed, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining heavy and light diesel plant and equipment, as well as heavy and light fleet in the workshop or in the field. Your key responsibilities will include inspecting and reporting any defects, ensuring servicing, repairs, and maintenance are provided to the manufacturer's specifications, and maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
2. Conduct hydraulic repairs, automotive electrical repairs, and welding and fabricating using oxy, and both mig and arc welders and machining.
3. Provide machine, mechanical, and maintenance induction training to plant operators and supervisors to ensure the safety, security, and performance of the asset is understood and optimized.
4. Undertake inventory, schedule work, and interpret and order parts and sundries required to be on hand to undertake maintenance and repairs.

About You:
You will be a skilled Diesel Mechanic with strong technical knowledge and ability to apply theoretical, technical, and procedural knowledge to diagnose, test, analyze, develop, and design complex systems, equipment, or procedures to manufacturers' specifications in accordance with the relevant management plans and policies. You will also have strong communication skills and be able to maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
