Security Guardian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guardian to join our team at Certis Security Australia. This role will be based at one of our client sites, where you will be responsible for carrying out Gatehouse Security duties in accordance with our standard orders and site instructions.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing client relationships and staff performance. You will be responsible for managing vehicle movement, access control, and visitor passes, as well as checking emails and administration tasks.
You will also be required to confirm that all individuals issued with security access cards have completed the relevant induction and hold an approved access level. Additionally, you will identify and report any security risks to the client contact and client services manager.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to provide daily communications diaries, event logs, incident reports, breaches, foot patrol reports, readings, alarms, and checks.
You will be responsible for providing perimeter security by ensuring there is no unauthorized access to the site or vulnerabilities to the physical and electronic security integrity of the site perimeter. You will also respond to alarms generated by access systems, fire systems, building management control systems, CCTV systems, and any issues raised by staff or contractors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage vehicle movement, access control, and visitor passes

- Identify and report security risks to client contact and client services manager
- Provide daily communications diaries, event logs, incident reports, breaches, foot patrol reports, readings, alarms, and checks
- Provide perimeter security by ensuring no unauthorized access to site or vulnerabilities to physical and electronic security integrity
- Respond to alarms generated by access systems, fire systems, building management control systems, CCTV systems, and staff/contractor issues
- Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and staff performance
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Risk and assessment qualification
- Senior First Aid Certificate
