Educator in Simulation-Based Medicine

The Simulation Education Fellowship is a dual role that combines clinical practice with teaching and education. You will be part of a team that focuses on simulation-based education, collaborating with experts who specialise in various modalities including simulated patients, mechanical low and high-fidelity patient simulators, virtual reality-based medical training, and immersive simulators.
You will have the opportunity to develop your practical teaching and simulation skills at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This includes exploring simulation-based research, curriculum design, and interdisciplinary training methods that promote collaboration between healthcare professionals.
About Your ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include contributing to continuous quality improvement and education activities within the health network, working with the simulation centre to develop and expand its education programs, and maintaining skills in simulation-based education fundamentals including debrief techniques, formal feedback, remediation provision, and assessment.
About the PositionTo be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
