Would you like to be a part of our swim program team as a swimming instructor?

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified teachers who are enthusiastic about swimming and working with children. As a swimming instructor, you will play a key role in teaching effective swimming and water safety techniques.

The Role

We are looking for someone who is energetic, dynamic, outgoing, and fun, with a flair for working with children. You should have outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our members, patrons, and parents gain maximum benefit and enjoyment from our services.

You will need to be empathetic to the needs of our classes and have a passion for making children safer around the water. The ideal candidate will also have excellent verbal communication skills, the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and current certifications in First Aid (Level 2), CPR, and Blue Card.

Key Skills and Attributes:

- Energetic and innovative teaching style
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Current certifications: First Aid (Level 2), CPR, Blue Card
- AUSTSWIM Certificate (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
