Medibank Private Limited is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our community nursing team in Perth, Western Australia. As a Community Registered Nurse, you will work autonomously across 7 days, providing personalized nursing care to patients in their homes.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who wants to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with a focus on improving healthcare experiences and championing greater access, choice, and control for people in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, IV antibiotics, and PICC care.
- Work autonomously, making decisions and taking ownership of patient care.
- Travel between clients' homes, with reimbursement for kilometers traveled.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in mandatory quarterly paid training to maintain and upskill clinical skills.

Requirements
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Recent acute experience in a hospital or community setting.
- Ability to spot client deterioration and take appropriate action.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and a positive mindset.
