Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This is a key role that will see you working on a wide range of equipment, providing quality and timely customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong safety focus and be able to abide by site safety processes at all times. You will need to hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology and have experience working with heavy mobile mining equipment. Analytical thinking and the ability to investigate and diagnose complex electrical issues are essential skills for this role. Additionally, you will need to be able to interpret electrical schematics and meet the requirements for order 43 pre-employment medical.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide quality and timely customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of equipment* Attend to onsite site breakdowns and undertake fault finding and diagnostic work* New machine builds and machine shutdowns as well as liaising with technical support staff* Maintain the important link between the customer and the company, ensuring a high level of technical product support* Work an even time roster with the potential to travel away from home for short periods* Possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to apply this knowledge in a real-world setting
