Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Utility Service Technician to join our team in the Wallgrove/Smithfield region. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing utility-scale battery sites.

The ideal candidate will have experience as an electrical technician with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. They will be comfortable working in medium and high-voltage environments while maintaining a safety focus.

The job involves troubleshooting and repairing equipment, performing complex electro-mechanical debugs, and developing best practices for maintenance activities related to energy equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as defined by the service engineering team
  • Perform complex and precise electro-mechanical debug, rework and repair
  • Develop and follow best practices and procedures for various maintenance activities related to energy equipment

To succeed in this role, you must have a Certified Electrician (Cert III) qualification and a minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical work within the utility sector. SCADA operating experience is also desirable.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and willingness to provide support outside your region and possibly outside the country as required.
