Key Responsibilities

  • Route Planning and Dispatching: Utilize your exceptional organizational skills to allocate and dispatch deliveries, ensuring that deadlines are met and customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to provide clear instructions and build positive relationships.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules, and compliance.
  • Service Schedule Monitoring: Monitor service schedules for fleet and complete accurate handovers for the AM shift team each day.
  • Safety and Compliance: Complete yard checks and meet Safety KPIs.

Requirements

  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, drivers, and customers.
  • Geographical Knowledge: Strong geographical knowledge of the Brisbane area is highly regarded, although not essential.
  • Organizational and Computer Skills: Highly organized with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Highly proficient computer skills and the ability to pick things up quickly.
