Culturally Sensitive Leadership Role

This position involves leading initiatives to enhance access to health services for refugee and migrant populations in Western Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster culturally sensitive programs to improve health outcomes for diverse communities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to promote cultural diversity and inclusion across Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD)
  • Manage a dedicated team focused on delivering culturally responsive health services

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of multicultural health issues, demonstrated leadership ability, and high-level experience in cultural diversity education and training. They will also possess strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.

Requirements:
  • Current driver's licence valid within Australia
  • Graduate level or above in a health or other related discipline

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their ability to implement State and District health priorities and Multicultural Health strategies, policies, and programs. They should also have experience working in a cross-cultural context and developing solutions to improve the journey of refugee and migrant health consumers across the healthcare continuum.
