We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team of passionate professionals dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families. This is a full-time position available until 30 June 2025, offering flexible working options. You will not be required to meet billable hours, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality care to your clients.

About the Role

As an experienced Speech Pathologist, you will deliver tailored supports to families, utilizing evidence-informed best practices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing child development and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Tailoring support options to meet each child's unique needs, in partnership with families and caregivers.
  • Cultivating coaching skills to empower families and professionals in supporting children's everyday lives.
  • Facilitating connections between children, families, and their communities to ensure inclusion and participation.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • Expert knowledge of child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
  • Proven experience in supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including implementing effective strategies for practice at home and other settings.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles.
