Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the paint shop team to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality standards.
  • Work closely with other departments to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
  • Ensure and continuously improve a safe working environment for all by enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and improve 5S principles throughout the workplace.
  • Lead and engage the team by example and performance to key performance indicators.
  • Maintain on-time delivery of buses to maintenance/service schedule.
  • Seek smarter ways to serve through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Identify defective items and handle according to established procedures.
  • Follow all relevant safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a high level of problem-solving ability with focus on root cause elimination.
  • Results-focused to achieve agreed company goals.
