**Job Title:** Luxury Housekeeping Manager

**Estimated Salary:** AU$ 65,000 - AU$ 85,000 per annum, based on location and experience.

At Silk Hospitality, we are seeking an experienced Luxury Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Brisbane. This is a full-time permanent role that requires a strong leader with excellent customer service skills.

**About the Role:** As a Luxury Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading the housekeeping team, delivering housekeeping benchmarks and overall housekeeping operations in accordance with our high standards. You will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with all departments to ensure the hotel is presented well.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure your team is cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and hotel public areas to our highest standards.
  • Establish and implement operational procedures and standards.
  • Manage the hiring, rostering, and performance of employees.
  • Train and mentor your team.
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team.
  • Inspect assigned areas to ensure standards are met and maintained.
  • Set and adhere to budget controls.

**Requirements:**

  • A natural leader with excellent customer service skills.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or people management role in a 4 or 5-star luxury brand.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to drive results within a team and hold people accountable.
  • Competent with computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities, innovation, and a proactive approach.
