The NSW Department of Communities and Justice is a leading organisation in the field of victims' rights and support. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality services to those affected by crime, and we are seeking a skilled Criminal Support Specialist to join our ranks.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual to work as a Criminal Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide critical support to victims of crime, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to navigate the complex justice system. You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional service and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities- Provide information, advice, and referrals to victims of crime, ensuring they receive the support they need.
- Manage applications for victim's support, working closely with colleagues to ensure timely and effective processing.
- Work collaboratively across the department to identify opportunities to improve our policies, procedures, and practices.
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. You will have a strong understanding of the victims' support scheme and the complexities of the justice system. Experience in a similar role or industry would be highly regarded.
What We OfferAs a Criminal Support Specialist with the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, you will enjoy a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of $70,694 - $76,857 per annum, plus employers' contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
