About the Role

We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced HV Jointers/Testers to join our team on multiple projects across Australia. As an HV Jointer/Tester, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting plant and equipment for conformity.
  • Terminating and installing high-voltage cables.
  • Performing jointing techniques for high-voltage cables, both underground and above.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manuals.
  • Repairing plant electrical components, including diagnostic analysis of electrical systems.
  • Modifying wiring looms and electrical components.
  • Assisting our team in building electrical equipment to client specifications.
  • Conducting inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on high-voltage electrical systems.
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns and resolving electrical issues efficiently.
  • Upholding company safety standards at all times.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Electrical trade qualification or Certificate III Electrotechnology (HV).
  • Electrical license highly desirable.
  • Construction Induction (White) Card.
  • Previous OEM experience.
  • Current driver's license (C class minimum).
  • Current First Aid and LVR/CPR (desirable).
