Project Manager Role Overview

We have a role available for a Project Manager to oversee and manage projects arising from estate maintenance request activities, survey and quote activities, and estate works requests across multiple defence bases.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop project quality plans to ensure high standards are met and compliance with project documentation.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
  • Conduct regular financial performance reviews to ensure projects are on budget and financially viable.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including military personnel, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety guidelines are set, implemented, and monitored throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and services required for project completion and identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in the Defence sector or similar industry.
  • Experience with estate maintenance request activities, survey & quote activities, and estate works requests is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent would be advantageous.
