Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Coordinator to oversee front of house operations, hospitality services, and a multi-skilled team at our venue.
As the Front of House Coordinator, you will ensure that every customer's experience is seamless, safe, and welcoming. You will be responsible for leading and rostering a multi-skilled front of house team, managing timesheets, overseeing contractors, and modeling exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and roster a multi-skilled front of house team
- Manage timesheets and oversee contractors
- Oversee café, bar, and catering operations, including stock control and day-to-day service
- Coordinate events, performances, and functions with knowledge of performing arts venues and experience across box office, front of house, and hospitality
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-presented environment where guests enjoy a seamless and memorable experience
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in hospitality or venue operations, including catering, ticketing, and event coordination
- Ability to lead and support a multi-skilled team, manage rosters, and juggle multiple projects
- Strong administrative, cash handling, and operational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety, liquor licensing, and risk management in a modern venue
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues professionally
