Job Summary
The Senior Construction Project Planner will develop program schedules and timelines with the team to ensure optimal resource utilization while adhering to project requirements and historical trends. The successful candidate will apply robust construction methodologies using innovative technology and closely monitor project progress, addressing any deviations from plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to develop a comprehensive project schedule incorporating resource requirements, historical data, and best practices.
- Implement effective construction strategies utilizing cutting-edge technology to optimize project planning.
- Maintain regular project monitoring to identify and address deviations from planned progress.
- Analyze and resolve internal issues related to project deviations, developing mitigation plans as needed.
- Work with Commercial and Project Leaders to finalize project terms and conditions.
- Presents revised project timelines to clients, negotiating modifications and changes favorably.
- Negotiate improved terms and project timelines with suppliers and subcontractors as necessary.
- Apply various delay and disruption analysis methods to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide advisory support for substantiating entitlement claims.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Building/Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Have at least 8 years of experience in planning management.
- Be knowledgeable about planning processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and risk management skills.
- Have a good understanding of construction methodologies and practices.
