About the Role

The Facilities Services Officer is responsible for ensuring the upkeep of facilities within our health unit, including interior and exterior maintenance. This role involves tasks such as rubbish collection, minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical, and grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of facilities
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent damage and ensure smooth operations
  • Responding to emergencies and conducting repairs as needed
  • Liaising with other teams to coordinate maintenance activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You should also possess basic knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $28.52 - $28.82 per hour, plus 25% casual loading. This is a competitive rate that reflects the importance of maintaining our facilities and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and patients.
