Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Surface Finisher

Overview

The role of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Surface Finisher is critical in ensuring the operational readiness of the Australian Airforce Wedgetail fleet. As a key member of our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team, you will be responsible for conducting and certifying ASURFIN tasks, including surface coating applications and aircraft markings in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surface Finishing: Conduct and certify ASURFIN tasks, including surface coating applications and aircraft markings in various environments.
  • Collaboration: Work with maintenance planning on aircraft servicing tasks.
  • Safety Standards: Uphold WHS practices in the paint shop and report issues.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage supplies for surface finisher tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aeroskills (Surface Finishing): You must hold this certificate to apply for the role.
  • Australian Citizenship: You must be an Australian citizen or have the ability to obtain and maintain a BASELINE clearance.
