Lead a Dynamic Team as Senior Reliability Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Reliability Engineering Manager to lead our team in Welshpool, WA. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and leveraging Komatsu's cutting-edge systems.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in Reliability Engineering, with a strong background in heavy mobile equipment. They will also possess proficiency with Reliability Engineering tools and methodologies, including FMEA, Weibull analysis, and condition monitoring systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level and join a dynamic team that values leadership experience and expertise in heavy mobile equipment. You will work closely with our National Engineering Manager – Customer Support to enhance machine performance and productivity, improve machine availability and reliability, drive continuous improvement, and manage component reliability and lifespan.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of 2 to 4 engineers in Welshpool, WA
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and leverage Komatsu's cutting-edge systems
  • Enhance machine performance and productivity, improve machine availability and reliability, drive continuous improvement, and manage component reliability and lifespan

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience in Reliability Engineering, with a strong background in heavy mobile equipment
  • Proficiency with Reliability Engineering tools and methodologies, including FMEA, Weibull analysis, and condition monitoring systems
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, setting strategic goals and managing workflow
  • Expertise in conducting and facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and presenting actionable insights
  • Experience in quality investigations and using a Quality Management System to document findings
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to represent Komatsu in key account meetings
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering or higher)
  • RPEQ or CPEng qualification preferred (or ability to obtain)
