Job Title: Maintenance Officer

About the Role: As a maintenance officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of buildings and facilities. This involves conducting routine inspections, performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and building strong relationships with residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Routine Inspections: Regularly inspect buildings, facilities, and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform Maintenance Tasks: Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades to maintain the integrity of buildings and facilities.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and resolve issues promptly, using your problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and disruption.
  • Build Relationships: Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and staff by being approachable, responsive, and professional.
  • Sustainability and Continuous Improvement: Support sustainability initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement processes to enhance the quality of service.
  • Workplace Health and Safety: Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety, adhering to regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Self-Motivation: Be self-motivated, adaptable, and physically fit to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience: Have experience in property, facility, or building maintenance, with a valid driver's licence desirable.
