We're seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Pitcher Partners. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on a wide range of tax-related matters, including income tax, CGT, and structuring transactions. You will also support and guide our Business Services team with the interpretation and application of complex taxation legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Utilise advanced technical analysis to offer practical and commercially viable advice across a wide spectrum of tax matters.
- Investigate, evaluate, and interpret tax legislation, offering your insights and recommendations.
- Assist in implementing strategies for key tax planning priorities.
- Developing successful client relationships and generate business development opportunities.
- Support the delivery of technical training and professional development.
- Lead and oversee tax projects from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless execution, and alignment with business goals.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- In conjunction with Marketing, offer thought leadership content to clients and stakeholders.
- Relevant degree in accounting, law, or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in business services, tax consulting, or equivalent.
- An inquisitive and analytical mindset with a passion for delving into complex issues and finding innovative solutions to challenging tax problems.
- Strong time management to handle competing priorities and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Team orientated approach where you can thrive in a collaborative environment where you can actively support your colleagues, embodying our values in your interactions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, which allow you to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively to both clients and peers.
- Strong attention to detail with a meticulous approach to work ensuring accuracy in analysis and recommendations as well as in the preparation of tax documentation.
- Adaptable and resilient with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances or priorities, maintaining focus on productivity under pressure.
