
Network Project Specialist

This role supports the growth of optical fibre construction projects and internal development initiatives for various teams within our organisation. The successful candidate will provide administrative support and project task assistance to diverse teams, contributing to the delivery of a cutting-edge communications network to Australia's academic and research sector.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong computer skills in Microsoft Office programs. They will also be confident working independently and representing our organisation professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage internal data systems, including entering and updating project information.
- Assist with the production of project-specific documentation and reporting.
- Manage infrastructure procurement systems and processes alongside daily data entry requirements.
- Assist with the management of physical assets, including inventory management, stock maintenance, and logistical support.
- Contribute to project planning tasks supporting the continued expansion of our fibre network.
- Produce high-quality documentation of team processes.
- Provide administration support across relevant teams, including meeting organisation, agenda documentation, minutes, and reports.
- Utilise core technology to support project tasks, including Word, Excel, Visio, Jira, Confluence, and Zoom.
- Identify areas for improvement across systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Be an Australian Resident.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to manage competing demands.
- Have strong computer skills and be comfortable using Microsoft Office Programs.
- Be confident working independently and representing our organisation professionally.
