Job Description

Remediation Project Leader Job Opportunity

Our company seeks a seasoned project manager to lead remediation projects from setup through completion for our mining clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with HSECQ regulations
  • Implement effective cost control and optimize project efficiency
  • Coordinate labor and subcontractors
  • Provide technical and engineering advice as needed
  • Liaise closely with clients to ensure projects meet program requirements
  • Participate in tendering and estimation processes
  • Travel to mine sites to support teams
  • Manage client relationships and stakeholders
  • Oversee self-perform crews and improve efficiencies
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Develop and modify ITPs and SWMS
  • Raise RFI's and track responses
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • White Card certification
  • Valid drivers license
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction or Engineering
About You

As a seasoned front-line leader, you have approximately 5 years of experience in on-site management roles. Your background includes;

  • Experience in mining, plant maintenance, and shutdowns
  • Knowledge of blast and paint, concrete repair, and other remediation projects
  • Able to coordinate complex shutdowns
  • Strong program and planning skills
  • Effective budget management and cost control
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and subcontractor management
