Key Responsibilities

  • Operate plant and equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and jackhammers, to ensure safe and efficient production.
  • Feed raw materials and processing agents into plant machinery to meet production requirements.
  • Set controls and operate machinery to achieve optimal production levels.
  • Adhere to all relevant Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and follow all Site Safety and Company procedures.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or incidents to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in all necessary training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Major Hazard Facilities is highly desirable.
  • Experience operating high-risk machinery is highly regarded.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential.
  • Intermediate literacy, numeracy, and logical reasoning skills are required.
  • Physical ability to pass a pre-employment medical to perform a variety of tasks is necessary.
  • Ability to work well in a team or as a self-starter who can perform with minimum supervision is required.
  • Basic computer knowledge is required.
