About the role

Key Responsibilities

The Professional Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and administering training delivery, evaluation, and recording of training programs conducted at Stanwell Power Station.

  • Evaluate ongoing compliance against legislation and training requirements including employee attendance.
  • Maintain a high level of customer needs responsiveness within a resource-constrained environment.
  • Secure cost-efficient contracts from training providers and manage services performed in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with technical, professional, and managerial staff.
  • Identify improvements in the delivery and administration of training and development (e.g., procedures, systems, and services).
About You

The following qualifications and skills are required:

  • Relevant business administration studies or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of training and employment assistance programs, or equivalent desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of procurement processes including sourcing tenders, evaluating, and negotiating contracts and managing contractual compliance.
  • Experience in coordinating end-to-end processes in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of people in a confident and credible manner.
