Job Title: Maintenance Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Officer to join our team in the Hot Strip Mill (HSM) Gauges Maintenance department.

This role will involve maintaining and improving plant condition, ensuring safety standards are never compromised. Key responsibilities include providing technical knowledge and root cause analysis approach to all equipment problems, managing plant performance and planning, organising and overseeing the safe execution of maintenance activities, inspecting and understanding the condition of all plant and equipment, seeking ways to improve performance and inputting to maintenance strategies, and supporting improvements in gauges asset capability, upgrades and product quality systems across Hot Mills.



Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A electrical trade qualification or electrical engineering qualification with practical experience;
  • An electrical supervisor or contractor licence (NSW);
  • Technical experience within a maintenance function;
  • Problem solving and reliability improvement experience;
  • A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
