Job Overview

Clinical nurses play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, promoting positive health outcomes and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement quality and infection control procedures and monitor their effectiveness
  • Conduct clinical audits and surveillance as required to ensure high standards of care
  • Provide expert guidance and support to less experienced nursing team members
  • Educate and train staff on relevant topics to enhance their knowledge and skills

The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of National Quality Safety Healthcare Standards (NSQHS) and ACHS Accreditation System. They will also have experience in supporting clinical teams to meet required standards.

Requirements
  • Current Registration with the relevant professional body
  • At least 5 years postgraduate experience and/or qualifications in Infection Control and/or Quality Management
  • Experience working in an Acute setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to delivering high standards of clinical and customer-focused care
