Job Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Education Focused Lecturer to contribute to teaching in the Communication and Journalism specialisation of the Bachelor of Media.
About the Role
- Develop and deliver hands-on courses in radio and podcasting, video journalism, and journalism production.
- Design and develop learning activities and resources, and assessment and feedback, using a range of suitable approaches and learning environments.
- Support student progression with students as individuals and as a cohort to achieve positive learning and employability outcomes for students.
- Manage course administration, including academic quality assurance.
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience in radio and/or video journalism.
- Proven track record in teaching and learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
- Demonstrated passion for educational excellence.
- Highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and promote equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
