Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Brisbane-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building cutting-edge technologies that improve the efficiency of our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design scalable systems for global use.
  • Take ownership of component design in solutions.
  • Build and evolve back end services with high availability, scalability, low latency, and extensibility.
  • Collaborate with UX Design teams to build intuitive interfaces that delight users and customers.
  • Work with multiple teams across the company and globally.
  • Leverage AWS services to build cloud-native applications.
  • E nsure robust security measures and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor engineers on the team to maintain high code quality standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving and complexity analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases
