Key Responsibilities:

• Provide and oversee legal advice to internal stakeholders on a wide range of corporate issues, including policy, regulatory, contracting, and procurement.
• Ensure the company meets its statutory, legal, and corporate affairs obligations.
• Develop legal policy and produce commercial and practical outcomes for the business.
• Interpret and apply relevant laws to business operations.
• Work closely with an experienced General Counsel/Company Secretary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws or equivalent.
• Admitted to or eligible to be admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania or Victoria.
• Senior level experience in legal services with in-house experience.
• Previous experience in advising at Executive and Board level.
