Urgent Care Practitioner Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced urgent care practitioner to join our team. As an after hours clinic located in Blackstone, Queensland, we provide consultations for common GP presentations and manage acute but non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses.

AFTER HOURS CLINIC OPERATING HOURS

The After Hour Clinic operates from 6pm to midnight on weekdays, 1pm to 6pm and 6pm to midnight on Saturdays, and 10am to 5pm and 5pm to 12am on Sundays.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • PGY3 or equivalent experience in Emergency Medicine
  • Junior House Officer (PGY2+), Senior House Officer (PGY3+), or Principal House Officer
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification enabling registration as a Medical Practitioner with the AHPRA
  • Recent experience in Emergency Medicine or ED overseas Specialists assessed by ACEM as Partially or Substantially Comparable

Benefits

As an urgent care practitioner with us, you will enjoy flexibility in your shifts, including weekend, weeknight, early morning, and public holiday shifts. You can choose from split shifts, standby shifts, and FIFO placements. Our current shifts include:

  • Weeknights: 6pm to Midnight
  • Saturdays: 1pm to 6pm and 6pm to 12am
  • Sundays: 10am to 5pm and 5pm to 12am

Job Requirements

Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. Part-time hours are available, ranging from 6-38 hours per week. The salary is negotiable, with rates ranging from $150.00 to $250.00 per hour.
