About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our dynamic team in Mackay, providing maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to heavy machinery and lifting equipment. Reporting directly to the service manager, you will work on a variety of industrial projects across Central Queensland, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repair work on industrial and heavy lifting equipment
  • Modify and develop electrical panels and circuits
  • Commission and test completed projects and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively
  • Travel to customer sites as required and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Requirements:
  • A-Grade Electrical License or qualification as a fitter
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Manual driver's license and ability to travel for site-based work
  • Safety-conscious with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Experience working on overhead cranes (highly advantageous)
