We're seeking an Industry Consultant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As an Industry Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting young people to achieve employment outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and mentoring young people to build their character and employability skills
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with industry partners to create successful, ongoing partnerships
  • Providing day-to-day oversight of industry program activities
  • Conducting risk assessments with employers to ensure duty of care and compliance
  • Leading on-campus training opportunities for young people
  • Education and training to prepare young people for work experience placements
  • Facilitating workshops and employability skills sessions
  • Reviewing and following up on work experience placements and providing feedback to young people
  • Engaging with new and existing employers to promote The Australian Industry Trade College
  • Communicating and liaising with parents/guardians and employers
