Financial Analyst Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team.

About the Role:
  • Provide essential financial analysis and accounting oversight for the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) project.
  • Contribute to the timely and accurate deliverables of the Finance department.
  • Partner with operational and finance stakeholders to drive accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Deliver month-end reporting, project valuations, and support payment claims submissions.
  • Month end process including journals, reconciliations, and analysis on WIP, billings, cost allocations, profitability, and working capital management.
  • Partner with the business to deliver the project Forecast Costs at Completion (FCAC) model including analysis on costs drivers.
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience.
  • Currently completing or willing to complete a CPA/CA/CFA.
  • Extensive experience in finance and accounting roles, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Previous experience in financial analysis within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Previous experience with JDEGS or large ERP system and strong Excel capability.
