Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Utility All Rounder to join our team at our Mine Site in Townsville Region and surrounding areas, Qld. The successful candidate will work various shifts and rosters, including DIDO positions within a 2-hour radius of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and clearing dining rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment for our customers
  • Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
  • Maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Providing fast and effective service throughout busy periods, with a positive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Assisting the broader team as required to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods to meet the needs of our customers
  • Maintaining cleanliness, stock, and crib food levels in the dining room
  • Performing housekeeping duties, including room and ensuite cleaning, making beds, and emptying bins
  • Common Area Cleaning - sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning
  • Mine Site Cleaning - cleaning offices, crib huts, and bathhouses
Requirements

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • At least 12 months of experience working as a cleaner
  • 6 months of experience in utility or housekeeping roles
  • A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
  • A motivated, enthusiastic, and positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
  • A valid driver's license (auto or manual)
  • A DIDO position, requiring the use of a personal vehicle
