We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary maternity team in a rural area of NSW. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, woman-centred care to achieve optimal pregnancy outcomes for women and their families.
Our modern, state-of-the-art Maternity Unit is equipped with the latest technology and facilities, providing a supportive and collaborative work environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people, including women from various socio-economic backgrounds and ethnicities, and experience a range of models of care.
As a Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for providing antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women, as well as conducting routine check-ups and providing education and support to women and their families. You will also be required to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care to women and their families. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Midwifery or equivalent.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Must hold ALS and Triage Qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
