Melbourne, Victoria, Australia laing O'Rourke Full time
About Laing O'Rourke

We are a $6 billion international operation with 70 years of involvement in Australian construction and infrastructure. Our expertise spans high security military bases, major rail transport infrastructure projects, and landmark buildings at the transport interface.

Our business delivers diverse projects, from infrastructure development to plant and equipment hire. We own Australia's fourth largest plant and equipment hire company, Select Plant Australia.

The North East Link Program

Victoria's biggest road project will connect the Eastern Freeway to the M80 Ring Road with new twin tunnels. This will take 15,000 trucks a day off local roads, slashing travel times by up to 35 minutes and creating new open spaces for local communities.

The project includes an overhaul of the Eastern Freeway, featuring new express lanes and Melbourne's first dedicated busway with two new park and ride facilities. These improvements will enhance access to public transport in the eastern suburbs.

South Package Deliveries

We are working with North East Link Program, Symal, Arcadis and WSP to develop value-for-money engineering solutions for the South Package. This involves upgrading the Eastern Freeway between Burke Road and Tram Road, including major bridge upgrades and new walking and cycling connections.
