Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team at Ozcare, where you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care and setting clinical standards that reflect best practice.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $107,672 to $112,157 per annum, plus additional benefits including 5 weeks annual leave, annual leave loading, optional salary packaging, meal entertainment cards, novated leases, private health insurance discounts, uniform and laundry allowance, and access to an Employee Assistance Program.

Job Description

As a Clinical Nurse with Ozcare, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and providing comprehensive care involving assessment, prevention, early detection, referral, and health promotion
  • Coordinating and regularly evaluating the effects of care provided through planner reviews and assessments, or as required, in consultation with clients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating and initiating community collaborations and partnerships that contribute to client care services
  • Providing support and direction to Registered Nurses
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Advanced nursing skills to provide appropriate supervision
  • Demonstrated application of advanced level clinical and problem-solving skills
  • Prior community nursing experience, highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of computer software in the delivery of care services
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Proof of immunity against Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), and Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
  • Current Police Screening Certificate
  • Current Queensland driver's licence
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Immunisation Program Nurse (IPN) Certificate
