**Company Overview**

The University of Tasmania is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical education, including skills training and simulation-based education, for senior medical students at the Launceston Clinical School.

About the Opportunity:

This role will focus on the development and implementation of innovative teaching methods, ensuring that students receive the best possible education. The appointee will report to the Director of the Launceston Clinical School and work closely with a team of clinical academic staff to deliver medical education in regional Tasmania.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about education and has a strong track record of delivering high-quality teaching. The successful candidate will have a PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, experience in university-level educational settings, and a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Making a strong and sustained contribution to the University's strategic objectives.
  • Undertaking scholarly undergraduate coursework teaching of an exemplary quality.
  • Providing academic leadership, particularly in fostering outstanding research and/or learning and teaching.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of productive and effective links inside the University and locally and nationally with the discipline, profession, and wider community.
