Asset Strategy Specialist

Opportunities in Asset Development
Transgrid Network requires the commercial and technical development of all new assets connecting to it. This includes collaborating with key stakeholders and external clients to develop optimised solutions and asset strategies for network developments across all aspects of the asset lifecycle.
This role involves working with EnergyCo, VicGrid, AEMO, and internal stakeholders including Executive Managers, Lumea, Major Project teams, Asset Managers, Network Planning, and Delivery teams to achieve optimal network development and asset outcomes.
- Experience in High Voltage Substation and Transmission Line technical roles across the asset lifecycle, including concept development, design, construction, operations, and maintenance is required.
- Proven ability to apply risk management to support asset management decision making and regulatory compliance is essential.
- A strong knowledge base in applying and managing the regulatory and compliance requirements relating to the asset management of high voltage transmission networks is necessary.
- Ability to evaluate technical and commercial options for network developments and provide input to financial modelling is required.
