About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in the Great Southern region of Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychiatric services to children and adolescents in the Great Southern region
  • Work collaboratively with the CAMHS team, including a psychiatrist, registrar, psychologist, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, and Aboriginal mental health workers
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a range of mental health conditions
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives
  • Participate in research and teaching opportunities with the local Rural Clinical School and Universities

The CAMHS team is a well-established and respected service in the Great Southern region, providing a range of services to children and adolescents with mental health conditions.

The Great Southern region is a beautiful and diverse area, with a population of around 80,000 people. Albany is the regional centre, with a rich history and culture, and a range of attractions and activities to enjoy.
