Job Summary:

As an Employment Consultant, you will work closely with people with disability to connect them to sustainable employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise a person-centred approach to tailor services and support participants into meaningful employment
  • Develop positive partnerships with local employers to create meaningful employment opportunities for participants
  • Enhance employability through referral to support services and training
  • Provide in-employment support to sustain employment
  • Market your participants' skills to prospective employers
  • Achieve program performance and quality benchmarks
  • Keep detailed, accurate records and adhere to all compliance requirements
  • Actively participate in the local community to promote services

  • Passionate & Motivated with a positive attitude and a strong desire to help participants succeed in employment
  • Relationship Builders who have strong customer service skills and can build positive relationships with participants and employers
  • Quality focused with an attention to detail and an ability to follow guidelines
  • Problem solvers who can think outside the square and develop strategies to place participants into sustainable employment
  • Tech-Savvy and confident in using computers and online systems
