Aquatic Programs Instructor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Aquatic Programs Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality swimming lessons in a safe, fun, and effective manner.

The instructor will manage the behavior of learn-to-swim students and ensure their safety and enjoyment at all times. They will also organize and set up equipment needed for lessons and advise coordinators of any faulty equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute learn-to-swim lessons according to established lesson plans and program timetables
  • Manage the behavior of learn-to-swim students and ensure their safety and enjoyment at all times
  • Organize and set up equipment needed for lessons and advise coordinators of any faulty equipment
Requirements:
  • Current Teacher of Water Safety accreditation (Royal Lifesaving NSW or AUSTSWIM)
  • Experience in planning and delivering learn-to-swim programs
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with the general public and students
  • Current Provide CPR certificate
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and Working With Children Check
