Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Intelligence Manager to join our Oceania team. This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business intelligence initiatives that drive growth and inform strategic decisions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data analytics, and business planning. You will possess advanced expertise in BI tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker. Additionally, you will have strong SQL skills, with experience in querying large datasets and developing complex data models.

You will work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve processes and outcomes. Your analytical skills will enable you to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets, and your ability to communicate complex information effectively will ensure that stakeholders understand the implications of your findings.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field;
  • Masters degree or MBA highly preferred;
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, business planning, or a related field;
  • Advanced expertise in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms;
  • Strong SQL skills, with experience in querying large datasets and developing complex data models;
  • Proficient in data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery);
  • Deep understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, data lineage, and metadata management;
  • Experience with data visualization best practices and the ability to create user-friendly, impactful dashboards;
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data environments and their integration with BI tools;
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets;
  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modelling, machine learning, or statistical analysis, is a plus;
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency;
  • Solid understanding of business operations, key drivers, and financial metrics;
  • Ability to align BI initiatives with strategic business goals and deliver insights that drive business performance;
  • Experience in collaborating with business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve processes and outcomes;
What We Offer

PUMA offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional development.
