CBH Group is a Western Australian co-operative that has been serving and returning value to WA growers since 1933. We are a leader in the Australian grain industry, with a strong and proud history of delivering millions of tonnes of quality Western Australian grain into the hands of customers around the world each year.
We have grown from humble roots into one of the world's largest and most efficient grain supply chains, with a storage and handling system that receives and exports around 90 per cent of the Western Australian grain harvest. Our core purpose is to sustainably create and return value to current and future West Australian grain growers.
About the RoleWe are seeking a communications professional who can support and deliver on projects and initiatives across CBH Group. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Corporate Affairs Team and across the business to develop and deliver communications and marketing plans for established and expanding areas within CBH.
This full-time fixed term opportunity until September 2025 is located at the CBH Head Office in Perth's CBD. It will suit a communications professional looking to build their in-house communications and marketing experience or interested in branching out into a different sector.
Job Description- Developing and delivering communications and marketing initiatives to growers, employees, and customers.
- Developing engaging content for the website, intranet, presentations, speeches, and other corporate communications channels.
- Providing advice to senior leaders on effective communications on a range of matters including grower relations, media relations, and employee engagement activities.
- Supporting media relations and social media activities, including preparing media statements and responses.
- Providing support when required for other areas of the Corporate Affairs team, including the delivery of grower-focused and corporate events.
- A communications all-rounder with particular experience delivering digital and integrated marketing campaigns or initiatives that achieve results.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in marketing and employee communications.
- An ability to work collaboratively and establish effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- A degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or similar with at least 5 years' experience in a related work environment.
- Experience with the agricultural industry will be highly regarded.
